I am not sure, but to sums up my 2017 life, it is not quite bad though. I
mostly remember big events only and all of them are good one, such as……….
1.
I quitted, yes I didn’t resume my contract to be a
teacher, maybe it will be one of my regret but for now, I am quite glad to stop
in the path and gave myself a second of thoughts, where I think I am not
suitable to be a teacher, although I would like to teach kindergarten or
elementary students where I think it will be so much fun. I believe that all
choices which we all take are good, so if you feel regret on the choice you
took, try to think the positive way in it, you will feel much better.
2.
I had my studies in Taiwan for four months. This is
quite tough because I need to survive on limited amount of money since I don’t want
to make my parents stressed up because of me. I was the one who plead them so
much to let me to study in Taiwan, at first they won’t allow me because they
afraid that I couldn’t take care of myself, and yes I am a person that had no
plans of the day, I do whatever I want on that day so that’s why sometimes I can’t
settle my deadline works (SOMETIMES ONLY). But I was totally glad that they
allowed me to go to Taiwan, there are a lot of stuffs that I learnt in there,
not only in studies but also life matters.
3.
I spent my 20th years old birthday in
Taiwan! Which is quite memorable because I am in the first year of head 2 and this
made me decided that I will do something memorable every year on my birthday or
birth-month.
4.
Joined a Christmas event which is the first time in
my whole life! Well, it’s funny because the day before I went to the event, I
went to a Buddhism Museum and watched a Buddhism cartoon about kindness and
stuffs. And I started to think it is totally different where Buddhism talks
more about being calm and peace while the event that I joined was like asking
us to join their plays, about getting merrier and merrier.
5.
Ate hotpots! The first time I had this kind of
hotpot! Of course it is different with the one that I eat every Chinese New Year.
There are meats where you can choose beef or pork or lamb. And you can choose
others side dish, I can’t finish it though (as usual), the vegetables only,
there are a lot of vegetables (maybe I ordered the wrong one).
6.
Trying hard to finish a lot of dramas before the
month end! Just for 3weeks I had finished a lot! Because I don’t want to feel
that I didn’t achieve anything.
7.
Last big event is, I am HAPPY and BLESSED.
P.S.: Actually I’m quite glad that Semester 2 and 3 made me relieved a
bit after what I experienced in Semester 1, where my schedule was totally
packed even on weekends.
I am glad that I had given a chance to this, where I can go to Taiwan
and try to live my life without family, to be honest I missed a bit about
Batam, especially the seafood, chicken rice, bak kut the, aboleng and my guling.
